Our founder, Sameer, has over five years of experience in professional roles that required precision, organisation, problem-solving, and excellent time management. Before moving into business management, he worked as a chef, where he developed the ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
That kitchen background is where our standard for cleanliness comes from — leaving every workspace in excellent condition is a core part of how we work. We believe a professional service isn't just about assembling furniture correctly, it's also about ensuring your home is left tidy, clean, and ready to enjoy once the work is complete.
Alongside the professional career, building and assembling furniture has been a five-year passion — wood model making is one of the hobbies that's sharpened the patience, accuracy and enjoyment of hands-on work behind every job we take on. Building and craftsmanship are more than just a job to us; they're a genuine passion.
Smart Flat-Pack is small and hands-on — no subcontractors, no call centre booking system. Whether it's a wardrobe, bed, desk, or full home setup, we're committed to providing a reliable, professional, and stress-free service for every customer. Smart Flat-Pack started in May 2026, and every photo on this site is furniture we've actually built — no stock images. Some of it is from Sameer's own move, which is simply why there was a camera on hand at the time. Every customer job gets the same standard.

What you can expect
Evenings & weekends
Weekdays 5pm–10pm, weekends 9am–10pm. We know most people can't take a day off for a fitter, so we work around your schedule, not office hours.
Clean finish, every time
We bring a handheld hoover to every job and take the packaging away at no extra charge. The job isn't done until the mess is gone too.
