Our Work

Real builds, with honest timings

Every photo here is furniture Sameer built himself — several from his own move, which is simply why there was a camera on at the time. No stock images, no borrowed portfolios. The timings are what these actually took, so you know what to expect before you book.

B&M round coffee table and matching side table assembled in a London living room

B&M coffee tables, large and medium

Around 45 minutes for both

Two tables, straightforward builds — a good example of how a smaller item is usually well under an hour.

HOMCOM Boho oak shoe cabinet with rattan flip drawers, assembled in a London hallway

HOMCOM Boho narrow shoe cabinet, oak

Around 1 hour 30 minutes

Two flip-down drawers and a slim frame. Narrow hallway units like this need care on the levelling — a shoe cabinet that rocks on an uneven floor is the usual complaint.

IKEA PAX wardrobe with mirrored sliding doors, assembled in a London bedroom

IKEA PAX wardrobe, mirrored sliding doors

Around 6 hours

The longest of these by some distance. Sliding-door wardrobes are the most involved job in flat-pack — the frame has to be genuinely square and level or the doors won't run properly, and mirrored panels are heavy and unforgiving if you rush them.

Tall white IKEA chest of drawers with a flip-up mirror lid, assembled in a London bedroom

IKEA chest of drawers with flip-up mirror

Around 2 hours

Drawer units are repetitive rather than difficult — the time goes into building each drawer and getting the runners aligned so they all sit flush and close cleanly. The hinged mirror lid on top needs the gas strut set properly so it holds open instead of dropping.

IKEA bookcase assembled and filled with books above a chest of drawers in a London bedroom

IKEA bookcase

Around 45 minutes

Shelving units go up quickly once the frame is square. Worth getting the back panel properly seated — it's what stops the whole thing racking sideways once it's loaded with books.

White wooden radiator cover assembled in a London hallway, styled with a mirror and flowers

Home Treats white wooden radiator cover

Around 1 hour

Slatted covers like this go together quickly, but getting it level and properly seated against the wall is what stops it rocking once it's in place.
